Today, a view from Camargue, a region located south of Arles, France, between the Mediterranean Sea and the two arms of the Rhône River delta.
The Camargue has an eponymous horse breed, the famous white Camarguais ridden by the gardians (cowboys). The picture you see below has been taken today when gardians are moving horses from their winter pastures to their summer pastures!
I plan to spend whole april in that area to take pictures of several tradional events related to horses, carnivals and bulls!
More to see in the following weeks, stay tuned!
