The 6th greek photographic circuit, one of the ten greatest
Results of the 6th greek photographic circuit were released yesterday and I was lucky to learn that one of my picture won an GPU Honorable mention in the Travel category among 9 more acceptances in both Travel and Nature categories.
I’m very grateful to the jury and the organization team for such a recognition of my work, specially when you know that 1401 photographers with more than 16 000 pictures attended the competition, which mean that this circuit is now among the 10 biggest in the world!
My awarded pictures
Blue Mosque is a picture of the great Mosque Sheikh Zayed located in Abu Dhabi that I visited during Christmal 2016. An outstanding building where up to 40 000 persons can gather to pray!
“King Fisher RSA 2” and “Chilling” are two new pictures originated from my journey with my best friend in South Africa last summer, one taken in the Pilanesberg game Reserve and the second one in the Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Park, the oldest proclaimed nature reserve in Africa in 1895.
You might have already seen the last 3 pictures somewhere else on my website either they’ve already won awards or as picture of the day.
Sunset Christmas is one of my favorite, I took it the day of New years’Eve 2016 in the desert of Abu Dhabi
Namibian Dune 3 is from Sandwich Harbor, in Namibia, where the sand dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean. An unique and amazing place in the world I’m happy to have been there once in my life!
The last one, Kites in the Sky is one I took in France, in the Baie de Somme where kites are the masters of the sky!
I hope you enjoy those last pictures and I hope that I’ll have such good news to share again with you this year 🙂
